WHY ARE WE DIFFERENT:
Crystal Lotus Yin/Yang Alignment Yoga TTC is a unique multi-discipline program focused on transformation and healing with strong emphasis on the medical and therapeutic aspects of proper alignment. We are empowered to reconnect to ourselves, others and nature with more love, compassion and authenticity allowing us to live more in a state of organic flow and joy.
KEY BODY SYSTEMS – PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, MENTAL, SPIRITUAL (PEMS):
The core of our Yin/Yang Alignment & Shamanic Yoga TTC is deep transformation of the 4 key systems of the human body (PEMS).
Physical level – we dive deep into the bones, ligaments and fascia of the body using Iyengar alignment, special guided meditation and breathing techniques.
Emotion level – we learn to connect deeply, accept and transform our feelings with various special insight meditations and breath work.
Mental level – we use gentle yet highly effective methods to overcome limiting beliefs and to reprogram the subconscious towards a more desirable way of being.
Spiritual level – with the practices of shamanism, we explore the hidden forces of the natural world and learn how to connect with our inner guides and animal totem. With Yogic and Buddhist practices, learning about reincarnation and our soul’s purpose of spiritual evolution.
LOGICAL LEARNING & TEACHING METHODOLOGY:
The program has been constructed in a logical and systematic way, every topic will be presented with both theory and experiential practice. You will be practicing individually, with partners or in groups. Because the goal of the program is for you to able to share the process of transformation of the 4 key body system to your students, you will start learning how to teach beginning the third week after personally experiencing the transformative process during of the first two weeks.
We designed the course in such a way as to be able to accommodate each person’s level and allowing each person to progress at their own pace within the duration of the program. Our intention is to share this knowledge to aspiring practitioners from all walks and paths of life.
WEEK 1 – FOUNDATION
Alignment Yoga - Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas and Bandhas. Insight Meditation - Cultivating deep insight & emotional release energy. Correct postural alignment in Asanas .
WEEK 2 – ANATOMY & ALIGNMENT THEORY & PRACTICE
Alignment Yoga - Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas and Bandhas. Western Anatomy - Skeletal, Joints, Ligaments, Muscle, Fascia. Western Physiology - Organs and body systems, sympathetic, parasympathetic and Autonomic nervous system. Yoga Anatomy - Chakra system, Pranic channels, Kundalini. Anatomical Health - Roles of Muscle groups, prevention of injuries, focus on joint, spinal and energetic flow.
WEEK 3 – TEACHING
Alignment Yoga - Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas and Bandhas. Understanding students needs and learning styles. Structuring and sequencing yoga for various groups Teaching fundamentals: Theory, Demonstration, Adjustments & Assisting. Teacher’s professionalism and Etiquette Understand teaching methodology for various types of asanas - standing, seated, back-bends, core, restorative.
WEEK 4 – YOGIC PHILOSOPHY
Alignment Yoga - Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas and Bandhas. Upanishad - Vedas in the form of practical and personal teachings. Moksha & Maya - Liberation and Illusion. The 8 limbs of Yoga from Patanjali. The cause of suffering: the Kleshas, Bhagavad Gita, Sankhya’s map of the universe. Journey inward through the Koshas, 3 Gunas of Nature.
